Mastermind of Paris assassinations was killed during police raid on Wednesday
The alleged main organizer of the terrorist attacks in France, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was killed during a police raid on Wednesday of the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis, according to the Paris Prosecutor. "Abdelhamid Abaaoud was formally identified. He was killed during the police raid," reads the prosecutor’s press release.
The prosecutor said terrorist’s body sustained gunfire during the raid by police officers and soldiers. Abaaoud’s cousin, Hasna Aitboulacen, died during the raid also when she exploded a suicide vest.
During Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris 129 people died and another 350 were injured. CNN reported on 20 November that Friday’s death toll has risen to 130 and that a third person died during Wednesday’s raid.
