Romani entertainer Jan Bendig makes Forbes' "30 under 30" in the Czech Republic, has a message for young readers of Romea.cz
Forbes magazine has published its list of the most successful young people in the Czech Republic, and this year the elite list of "30 under 30" includes the singer Jan Bendig. He has also become the first Roma man ever featured on the cover of the Czech edition of Forbes.
“They’re young, capable and successful. You all should know who they are. Allow us to introduce our tenth annual selection of exceptional Czech talent from the worlds of business, startups, science, sports and the arts, who will inspire you all as much as you want,” Forbes introduces this year’s 30 young people.
The magazine chose Bendig to appear with the director and visual artist Diana Cam Van Nguyen and developer David Sibřina. “When I restarted my career with my manager Lukáš Rejmon, I aimed to appear on the cover of Forbes. That was at a time when many people were no longer giving me a chance to kick-start my career again, they didn’t want to touch us, and they did a lot of damage to me. That was the real engine behind my working properly to show them that if one wants something, everything is possible,” Bendig told news server Romea.cz.
“The fact that I’m on the cover and that I’m also in the prestigious 30 under 30 selection is a great honor for me,” Bendig said before sending this encouraging message to others. “I’d like to tell everybody who’s just at the start of their careers, who don’t believe in themselves, or who have people in their circles who are deterring them from their aims: Don’t give up. Fight for your dreams and you’ll achieve them. The main thing, though, is to not forget your beginnings and to always carry on with humility,” Bendig told news server Romea.cz.
Forbes Czech edition published its tenth “30 under 30” this year, and every year the magazine introduces a new generation of exceptional men and women under 30 who have already come a long way, risen to the top of their fields, and can be a brilliant inspiration to everybody irrespective of their age. The group is not ranked in any way, as all members are considered the best at what they do.
“Everybody who appears in the list has exceptional talent, everyone works hard to be at the very top of their field,” the magazine reports. In the year 2021, Romani singer Monika Bagárová was also featured in the Czech edition’s “30 under 30”.
