In Gliwice, Poland, the KSW Epic tournament was held Saturday evening, featuring several exciting matches in various martial arts. One of the main attractions was the duel between the Czech kickboxer Václav Sivák and the Polish standing champion, Michał Królik, in Muay Thai boxing.

Sivák maintained his undefeated record, with the decision of the referees unanimous as to his victory. “Václav Sivák is winning after a brilliant performance through a decision that is unanimous,” the Facebook page of the KSW organization announced, confirming that Sivák beat his opponent by a class margin.

Both fighters used small gloves, which meant their blows had greater impact and intensity. Królik got off to a relatively good start and they were evenly matched in the first round, but “Bad Boy” Sivák took the initiative in the second round and started dominating thanks to his renowned kicks.

The third round was similar and all three referees ultimately agreed to give Sivák his 26th straight victory, which means he remains undefeated. This was the first time Sivák has presented himself at KSW, the biggest European organization for mixed martial arts.

For the Czech fighter it was both a big challenge and opportunity to show his abilities on the international scene. “This is an enormous challenge for me, in Europe, KSW is the largest organization. I’m genuinely glad for the opportunity. If I manage to win, it will change my life. I believe the KSW is reading my mind. They saw the dream I had at the age of 12,” Sivák said ahead of the match.
