On Saturday evening one of the most important gala evenings of the Real Fight Arena (RFA) and I Am Fighter (IAF) organizations was held featuring not just Václav Sivák, Jr. but his father, Václav Sivák, Sr. Both matches yielded dramatic moments, but while the younger Sivák was victorious, Sivák, Sr. lost after his son threw in the towel from his corner.

Václav Sivák, Jr. vs. Konstantin Stoykov: Crushing second-round victory

Sivák, Jr. once again demonstrated his dominance in a cage match. His fight with Konstantin Stoykov started at a fast pace when the Czech fighter rained strong kicks and various techniques down on his rival right after the opening gong. Stoykov tried to defend himself and was waiting for his own opportunity to strike, which came in the second round. He startled Sivák, Jr. for a moment with several well-aimed hooks, but the Czech fighter quickly recovered and once again took control of the match. The crucial moment arrived when Sivák, Jr. delivered a crushing blow that paralyzed Stoykov and gave Sivák, Jr. his victory through a technical knockout.

Erkan Murat vs. Václav Sivák, Sr.: The father’s fight ends when his son intervenes

While Sivák, Jr. was celebrating his victory, his father was facing off against Erkan Murat in a demanding match. Both fighters started out on equal terms, but Murat slowly gained the advantage especially thanks to his exacting high kicks and pressure on soft tissue. During the second round he escalated his attacks even more, causing Sivák, Sr.’s son, who was following the match, to throw his father’s towel into the ring and end the fight. Murat therefore also won through a technical knockout in the second round.

Sivák, Jr.’s sharp remarks: Criticism of Czech stars and a challenge to the Oktagon champions

In addition to his performance in the cage, Sivák, Jr. decided to unleash yet another wave of discussion in the martial arts world by making controversial remarks ahead of his match. He sharply criticized his fellow fighters from the Czech Republic who engage in other activities such as podcasts in addition to fighting. “To me, they aren’t fighters, but influencers,” Sivák, Jr. said, referring to fighters such as Leo Brichta, Patrik Kincl, and Karlos Vémola.

Sivák, Jr. did not spare his critics his confident attitude either, including Ondřej Novotný, the promoter of the Oktagon organization, and the legendary trainer Ondřej “Spejbl” Hutník. “I expect to fight Keita, and once I’ve defeated him, we’ll see what they have to say,” Sivák, Jr. said, referring to the champion of the Oktagon program. It is unlikely he will ever fight Losen Keita, though.
