Czech Philharmonic celebrates International Romani Day with Romani literature and musicians
The Czech Philharmonic gave two special performances with the Čhavorenge choral ensemble to mark International Romani Day and included guests in their auxiliary program such as the Romani actor Jan Cina and Romani author Ilona Ferková. The concerts were performed on 7 and 8 April at Prague’s Rudolfinum, which also dedicated space to a photograph exhibition and readings from Romani literature.
In this reportage by ROMEA TV you will see Cina reading from books by Romani authors Andrej Giňa and Ilona Ferková, moderated by Karolína Ryvolová. The literary program was designed by the KHER Romani literature publishing house and the ROMEA organization in collaboration with the Triáda publishing house.
