Czech kickboxer of Romani origin to compete next week at MMA gala in Prague
On Thursday, 27 June, a gala evening at the Královka sports arena featuring mixed martial arts (MMA) and produced by the new organization Prague Fight Night will take place in the Czech capital. Competitors will include Slovak fighter Ivan Buchinger, Patrik Kincl (rival to the biggest star of Czech MMA, Karlos Vémola) and Romani kickboxer Václav Sivák.
Sivák became the junior champion of Europe in 2017 and currently is also champion in the male category internationally, representing the Czech Republic in the K-1 category, and the media are describing him as one of the biggest talents in the discipline domestically, with many victories under his belt already. He has become famous for wearing a Romani flag across his shoulders when he is declared the winner of his fights.
