The online broadcaster ROMEA TV and the Romodrom organization have decided to create opportunities for dialogue on Romani-related subject matter: During this first such debate, the Czech Interior Minister and the Czech Government Commissioner for Romani Minority Affairs discussed discrimination, public safety, and possible solutions to tensions. The debate took place on Tuesday, 15 August, attended by Czech Interior Minister Vít Rakušan, Czech Government Human Rights Commissioner Klára Laurenčíková, Czech Government Commissioner for Romani Minority Affairs Lucie Fuková and Bohdan Rajčinec, the member of the Czech Government Council for National Minorities representing the Ukrainian minority.

Fuková outlined planned changes, such as the creation of local Romani Councils and involving them into the system. The guests selected to participate will depend on the subject and those invited to the debates will be, above all, the main actors and figures contributing to addressing the current situation or those whose opinions in relation to the subject have been published in the media.
